Come explore the amazing beauty of Tanzania on our Photography Safari designed specifically for photographers. Our visit in February is during the Wildebeest calving season where hundreds of thousands of herding animals gather in the Ndutu, Southern Serengeti, and Ngorongoro regions. The greater Serengeti conservation area includes mountains, marshes, dry river beds, lakes, and the world famous plains. Through our expert safari drivers, we will take our clients on all day game drives that put you in front of the Big 5, herds of zebra, Wildebeest, and all the predators that have been hunting since the migration returned in December. There are an abundance of Lions, Cheetahs, Hyena, Jackals, and elusive Leopards and Caracals. The Ndutu region allows game drivers to explore off road to gain unprecedented access to wildlife. The Ngorongoro Crater is the largest intact, unfilled caldera in the world. It has one of the highest densities of lions and over 25,000 large mammals that call this area home year round. Elephants, Black Rhino, and Cape Buffalo roam while Wildebeest, Zebra, and Gazelle herd and protect their young. This trip also will introduce you to hundreds of species of birds and raptors, including a variety of eagles, and one of the largest flocks of Flamingos in the world. The African landscape, extreme wildlife, and pure exhilaration a photographer will experience is truly why this trip is on so many people's bucket list.
