Terms and Conditions

Tripod Travelers LLC

Throughout this website in consideration of services and communication with Tripod Travelers LLC, their officers, agents, and employees are herinafter collectively referred to as "Tripod Travelers".     

Payment Process

Tripod Travelers has built a payment processing system to simplify our Client's experience. You can pay for your entire workshop online using our secured cart with options for deposit, remaining balance, or paying in full; you never need to leave our website.

Payment Types

We accept payment using both Credit and Debit cards (VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover), if you would like to pay by check, please contact us directly.

Deposits and Final Payments

A deposit is required to reserve your spot on the trip.  We ask for a $500 deposit per person, most trips are held to six photographers, the sooner your deposit is secured the better.  Full payment for your trip is due 90 days prior to the first day of your trips itinerary, no exceptions. If you reserve a trip within 90 days of the trip's first itinerary date, no deposit is needed; we only accept payment in full. 

Important

In the event you need to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, we highly recommend all clients obtain a travel insurance policy.  Policies typically cover trip cancellation, travel delays, medical expenses, baggage, emergency assistance etc.  We also advise our clients to purchase policies that include emergency evacuation coverage.  Coverage is reasonable and worth protecting you and your travel investment.

Cancellation and Refunds

In the event a Traveler for any reason must cancel their reservation, the following policies apply. 

 

Reservations Cancelled prior to 120 Days of the trip are refunded in full, no questions. 

Reservations Cancelled 120 to 91 Days of the trip, the deposit is non refundable.*

Reservations Cancelled 90 to 61 Days prior to the trip, 50% of the trip is refunded, less your deposit.*

Reservations Cancelled 60 Days through the last day of the itinerary are non refundable.

*Tripod Travelers will work with our clients to apply their lost deposit or remaining 50% loss to a future trip if there is availability. Please inquire for more details.   

Once on site, Tripod Travelers cannot be held responsible or liable for itinerary changes due to natural disasters, weather, directives from Law Enforcement or other situations not in our control.  Although we will do everything in our power to stay on or adjust the itinerary, the price and duration of the trip will not change once you are registered. Payments are not refundable for itinerary changes while on location.

 

In the unlikely event Tripod Travelers must cancel an entire trip for reasons including, but not limited to; conditions that would dramatically impact the photographers experience, safety, or other situations not in our control, Tripod Travelers will refund all payments to their clients.  Tripod Travelers is not responsible for any costs incurred by our clients that were made in addition to or outside of what was paid to Tripod Travelers in preparation for your trip. Examples: Flights, Equipment, Clothing, VISAs, or other unrelated travel expenses etc.

 

Tripod Travelers will not cancel a trip due to not meeting minimum participants. 

Again, we encourage all of our clients to secure Travel Insurance to protect their investment. 

International Trips

Tripod Travelers offers amazing trips to international locations.  Since each country and businesses we partner with have different laws, regulations or business practices, Tripod Travelers will adjust our payment and refund policies to align with with each scenario. Each international trip will have it's own policies, please review individual international trips for the details.  As always, call us if you have questions. 

Forms and Waivers

For each Trip, we ask our clients to fill out a questionnaire so we can capture important information about each traveler including emergency contacts, hotel accommodations, meal preferences, and any other specific requests.  This information helps us customize our itineraries to meet the needs of each participant.   We also ask a few questions about your photography skills so we can prepare specific learning experiences by traveler.  The form must be filled out for each traveler.  

Acknowledgement of Risk Form: Each client must sign and return this form.  The form will be sent once a deposit is received. 

Acceptance of any participant is contingent on the receipt and review of all required forms, documents, and payments.
